Creating public art is a team effort. Here we are in the early stages of installing Rio Amistad,  Ashland, Oregon's first public art commission, in 2005. This piece is located on Granite Street above the Plaza in Downtown Ashland. I was the "artist for hire" on this project for Illahe Tileworks, which was the winner of the competition for this great honor.
